I got the blu ray today. It was the combo so it came with the DVD also. The picture quality is really great with the blu ray. There are some more extras on it also. We have all seen the bloopers by now. But they have six of the full uncut dance performances you can watch, including the 3 minute 'Long John Blues' with Kirsten unedited. So thats cool.

It also of course has the behind the scenes features with cast, and a couple on the making of set design and choreography that kind of stuff. There is also a director commentary but I have not listened to it.

Steven Antin: I insisted on bringing them all back for the DVD because I was so sad to see them go. It was sad to see Alan Cumming's number go. Kristen Bell's number had to get cut down so much. Kristen's number is so good. 'Dr. Longjohn.' That was always a part of the script. She is so great in that, and it is so provocative and sexy. She is amazing.

Maybe they were required to cut out all the blatantly sexual parts? Seeing as the bits they did show were barely worth the shocked giggles from the audience

My best buy was out of Burlesque! Which is a good sign for sales but I was very sad about it.
