^ Oh, yeah. Even though Zay wasn't sure why they had given him that game, they clearly had a reason for giving him that game, just like he had a reason for giving her that book. I'm sure it never crossed his mind to throw the game back at them. Even if they hadn't explained their reasoning behind their gift to him, I think he was going to accept the gift without making a fuss or complaining.

^ I think so too. When Zay told Smackle why he gave her the book, he did tell her that he never wants her to forget who she is and what makes her wonderful, and part of who she is and what makes her wonderful is that her friends could always count on her honest opinions/reactions. Even if he does give her another present that she doesn't like, I'm sure he would expect her honest opinions/reactions to it.

^ That's a fact. Smackle clearly had a special connection/bond with Zay. There were more potential love sparks between them than Smackle/Lucas.

^ Exactly. If TPTB had really wanted to explore Zay and Smackle as a romance, it wouldn't have been out-of-the-blue, since TPTB dropped plenty of hints.

I love Zay's reaction to Smackle revealing his secret. He clearly wished she hadn't had such loose lips in that moment.
