^ I bet that's how that scene will play out. I think Smackle won't give Zay a straight answer if/when he asks her to tell him how he was flirting with her. She will probably say, "You know what you did!"

^ Yes, it is. Amir and Ceci seemed to drop little love moments when Zay and Smackle were in scenes together that would have made it easy for viewers to believe that the characters had romantic feelings for each other...if that had been TPTB's plan for them.

on that. The 'romantic' seeds were already planted for Zay and Smackle. TPTB just needed to give those seeds the time and attention to grow into a beautiful love story.

^ Oh, yeah. TPTB certainly gave us enough hints/build-up for us to believe that romantic!Zay/Smackle was a strong possibility. I'm curious about how they might have made it reality.

^ I think so too. I imagine TPTB would have kept building Zay and Smackle's connection for a season or two, and then they would have made them a couple in a scene that would have fit this duo.

^ I wouldn't have minded the wait. The build-up is my favorite part of shipping a couple.

I love that Smackle told Zay to appreciate the gift he got from her (and Farkle)...right before she showed her 'appreciation' for the gift he got her by throwing it at his head.
