They talked about how Shawn still wanted her as a friend even though she and Cory broke up.

^ I don't remember that scene, mostly because it's been a couple of years since I've watched the show...but I do love that. I'm glad Shawn told Topanga that their friendship wasn't tied to Cory. I think Topanga needed to hear that she didn't lose Shawn. :)

Idk, I don't think so on Topanga's side, but wouldn't surprise me if Shawn thought about it once or twice when they were younger :shrug:

I am not sure if they ever really though of each other in that way. I think maybe from day one it's always just been know that it was Cory and Topanga. Although, I can maybe see like a quick glimmer of a thought, but that's it.

^ That's how I saw things too. They both knew and felt that they were meant to be friends...but there may have been fleeting moments of them thinking that they could be more than friends. :hippie:

You can get a little confused when you are younger, but I think they always knew where they stood with each other.
