^ Yes, indeed. If anyone had a reason to be pessimistic, it was Shawn...but he still had positivity and hope in his heart. It was amazing to see that.

It did, it was such an important episode
It's a shame that he had to take it that far to be able to put himself in a girl's shoes, but I'm glad that he was able to think from someone else's perspective & made sure to never make someone uncomfortable like that or put any pressure on them __________________

^ I agree. I don't think Shawn ever thought about how he sometimes misunderstood or misinterpreted the signals girls sent him until he was on the receiving end of it. I'm sure he was more aware of those signals after that encounter. =)

Definitely, I think that before, he was probably just in his own head too much & thinking about what he wanted, to ever really pay attention to signals, but he definitely changed after that. It wasn't just something that was said in that episode, we actually got to see how respectful & how well he treated girls after that

^ That's my take on Shawn too. Like you said, before that moment, he didn't think about how the girls he was with felt (i.e. did they really sending him signals or was that what he saw?). but when he was on the receiving end of a guy's unwanted attention, he understood how they must have felt and he became more aware of that question in his future interactions with girls. It really was an eye-opener for him.
