It was interesting that Shawn figured out that he and Angela had more in common than he thought after they were no longer dating. I love how shaken he was when he looked into her eyes, and he realized that she was everything he wanted.

I did too, but I think that somehow being a problem in their relationship was massively overblown. They wanted to be like Cory & Topanga in that they wanted to be in love without anything holding them back, but they were always themselves in their relationship

Yeah, even though they said they want what Cory and Topanga have they were themselves in their relationship. I loved on their first real date they wanted burgers and fries at that fancy restaurant lol.

Oh, yes. It bugs me too.

I don't think Shawn and Angela were trying to be Cory and Topanga. When they took that leap to be in a relationship, I think they decided that they wanted to have the kind of relationship that Cory and Topanga had, and to feel the way Cory and Topanga felt about each other.

Aw! I love that Angela comforted Shawn in that moment. He really needed it.
