Hell yeah, love that moment and that picture! I think I like the two part episode in S5 where Shawn realizes he loves Angela a little more (I remember one of them was called "Chasing Angela") but "Angela's Men" is a close second.

Yes! I love the way TPTB told Shawn and Angela's love story. They gave them a nice mix of relationhip ups and relationship downs. It was very realistic.

I agree with both statements. I love that Shawn and Angela's relationship was written realistically with the ups and downs. Also agree that they are soulmates and the love of each other's lives that would of ended up together. They will never convince me Shawn chose to marry someone he barely knew over Angela. It will forever be bullcrap.

Even though we (and a lot of shippers) really wanted it, TPTB never planned to make Shawn/Angela endgame. Shawn and Angela were always going to go their separate ways, because according to Michael Jacobs, "They never meshed. Every episode was about why Shawn and Angela would not sustain." I wish I could un-learn that fact.

Did he come out & say that after the backlash against GMW though? Because that makes no sense to me at all - honestly, it sounds crazy. Why spend 3 seasons on a relationship that doesn't mesh? Just have them break up that first time & then have them just be friends. Like, that is not the story he told at all, I can't even believe he'd say that & expect people to believe it

He probably said that nonsense after GMW to try and convince himself why it made sense for Shawn to marry someone else so quickly. I don't recall ever hearing him say things like that while BMW was on. It sounds like sour grapes to me cause he was chewed up for what he did to Shawn/Angela. I also agree that isn't how they were being written or that being the message when Shawn and Angela were on the show. Like I've said many times, I'm not surprised they didn't end up together cause this is usually what happens to IR couples on TV shows. So that bs explanation he came up with was inevitable, but it doesn't add up with how Shawn and Angela's love story was written on BMW. So GMAB.

When Boy Meets World ended with Shawn and Angela going their separate ways, I loved my headcanon that they found their way back to each other. It sucks that Girl Meets World blew big holes in my headcanon.
