When people hurt someone they love is when they realize they have a problem and get help so they don't lose that person. I'm glad that him hurting Angela instantly made him stop that downward spiral. Just another thing showing Angela is the most important person to him.

^ Exactly. He knew he screwed up, so he tried his best to make sure she knew that he was sorry and that he wouldn't do it again. That did show how important she was to him.


It did. You never realize how out-of-control you are until you see how your words and actions are affecting someone you love.

Oh definitely, he was falling out with everyone in that ep, he physically fought his own brother. But Angela was on a whole different level for him

^ That's true. Shawn knew that it was going to take a lot of groveling and grand gestures to show Angela that he was sorry, and that he wasn't going to act that way with her ever again.

Ugh, that was a heartbreaking moment too. Good thing it wasn't real, but even there it showed Angela is the one Shawn wanted to be with and marry. He had so much regret letting her go in those scenes. At least it was written well, unlike that bs in GMW.

It was, & in that, it felt like Shawn/Angela still had a chance, that Shawn had learnt something & he might reconnect with Angela & let her know how he felt

Yes, indeed. Shawn putting in the work showed that he couldn't imagine his life without Angela.

Aw. I don't think anyone could have expected that that flashforward would be pretty close to what happened with them.


That's true. Even though the scene was heartbreaking, it didn't feel like an end with them. I totally believed that they would find their way back to each other.

Me too, it didn't feel like an ending at all. For them to meet again after all the years & still be so affected by each other... something was going to have to happen after that

I agree, that showed that they were destiny and soulmates. Just more proof that Angela leaving for a year with her father wouldn't of ended them so easily. After everything they have been through, that wouldn't of been the end of their relationship.

^ I agree. They pretty much told us that they would find their way back to each other one day. They weren't just another college relationship. They were very important to each other. I truly thought that their love would be so strong that nothing would tear them apart. I don't understand why TPTB didn't follow through with that storyline.


Exactly. They may have had their relationship ups and downs, maybe even took time apart, but that didn't mean they weren't deeply in love. They were just one of those couples that I thought would always find their way back to each other in every timeline or universe.

I agree, especially after Shawn used to just hook up with girls then break up with them before it got serious. He didn't want to change that till he met and fell for Angela. He was in it for the long haul, there is too much against the nonsense that they didn't find their way back to each other but he marries someone he barely knows? BS.

Exactly. Angela was the first girl that made Shawn take that leap of faith and want to build a relationship with. That meant something.
