"Girl Meets Master Plan" January 16th, Disney Channel Episode Description Maya celebrates her 14th birthday with Riley and Matthew, but is disappointed that her mom may not be able to join them. Meanwhile, Cory and Riley try to set up Maya's mother with Shawn when he visits.

I'll be honest, as much as Shawn Maya and Katy being a family would provide the happily ever after, I just don't believe in forcing fate. That and they mentioned Angela. A little piece of me is always going to believe in Shawn/Angela. If they can make a natural relationship between Shawn and Katy then fine.
Since that's off my chest, OMG THE LOCKET IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CALLBACK EVER! __________________

^^^I felt the Angela explanation was really generic and lame but i'm glad they finally did it. I don't believe they wouldn't of worked it out, should of just written them to still be together IMO.

The episode was good. A little strange that Shawn would have given Cory a ring and that Cory would want to wear it. Plus the only thing stopping him is Topanga. Seems odd. A friendship ring doesn't seem like something two straight guys would do. I know they're best friends, but still. Glad there was no Ava. Where was Auggie though? I noticed Riley said she would be the same age as Maya soon (14). For most of the season Riley was 12, so I'm not sure if they are going to play around with Riley's age? __________________

That was a pretty sweet episode by the end. THe only thing I think that wasn't needed was that animation like it was Mission impossible.

I thought the ring thing was very Cory/Shawn.
 I didn't like Cory's comments about Shawn's mom either. An Angela mention was nice. Though I was never really a Shawn/Angela shipper. __________________

I really liked this episode a lot. I wasn't sure how I was going to like the Shawn/Katy interaction, but I found myself liking it more than I thought I would. I liked seeing how much Maya and Shawn interacted too. I liked the serious tone of the episode too. I liked seeing an Angela mention too, at least we knew what had happened since we last saw her.

Episode was good.
 I'm not totally against a Shawn/Katy pairing. But I agree that it can't be forced.  Let it flow naturally from here on out. I just don't want all the diehard "Shawn/Angela shippers" hating and attacking Katy now. Not on this board necessarily, but I'm just saying in general. |

I do feel the Katy angle was rushed and hated the nods to them being a future couple. Where is the mystery? Still, I'm good with it.
