Yeah, I think the writers realized that they had neglected them a little bit & knew they needed to give that friendship a bit more depth too

Even though TPTB made it seem like Farkle was equally drawn to Riley and Maya, they didn't give the Farkle/Maya dynamic enough attention. That's why I always loved it when we got to see why Farkle and Maya were so close.

^ Yes, they were. Farkle and Maya were clearly very close. It was important that we saw what made their friendship work.

Aw! I love that that episode proved that Farkle does have some influence over Maya. You can bet that she would have given him just about anything he asked her for if it meant that she would get that ring.

^ It did look that way. I love that scene! When Farkle asked Maya if she would marry him without the ring, she told him to die, but when he asked her with the ring, she said that she loved him *cough*the ring*cough* so much.

I love all of the Maya/Farkle moments in that episodes. I always enjoyed it when we got to see some focus put on the different dynamics.

^ Aw! That's one of my favorite Maya/Farkle moments! I always loved it when we got to see them spending time together and connecting with each other.

I love that Farkle told the whole class that he had been keeping Maya's drawing in his pocket where his phone used to be, and that he kept looking at it. It was so sweet!
