^ I completely agree. I think Zay would have done everything he could to give her the time and space so that Smackle would grow as a person.

Aw! I love those two hug attempts! I wonder if Smackle would have smacked Zay's hand down too if she had been sitting beside him.

^ I think so too. I wonder what moment would have brought about Zay and Smackle's first hug. I can imagine that they would have hugged when they graduated from high school. Do you think their graduation hug would have been their first hug, or would they have hugged before that moment?

^ Me too. I'm sure the first Zay/Smackle hug was going to be like that Cory/Mr. Feeny moment in Kid Gloves after Mr. Feeny told Cory that he had found his silver gloves. Cory was so happy so he hugged Mr. Feeny, and then he realized what he was doing, so he wondered out loud, "How did I get here?"

I love that Smackle didn't seem to mind that Zay put his arm around her. It was also so cute that Smackle told Zay not to hit on her in front of Lucas.

Oh, how I wish we had gotten a moment where Smackle told Zay not to hit on her, because she had started to realize that there was a spark between them but she hadn't worked out what she was going to do about her realization.

^ I would have loved to have seen how Zay would have reacted to Smackle accusing him of hitting on her when he said or did something completely innocent/non-flirty.
