Nah, he isn't related to anyone from the original show. Writers said on Twitter that his "secret" has nothing to do with any original BMW character. It has to do with a new character.

Lucas's parents are obviously divorced. I think the secret is whether or not he has a good relationship with both of his parents.

Also I miss Lucas when he's not in an episode. They manage to fit Farkle in when the girls arent at school, how come they dont with Lucas?
