They both know what it's like to have people think that there isn't anything to them beyond their outward appearances. The reason that I think their friendship works so well is because they both help each other recognize and embrace their other layers. That push to do and be more is very important during these formative years. I'm glad that they have stuck by each other through thick and thin. I can't wait to see more of their bond.

I'm glad you think so. I sometimes think I don't know when to stop or that I'm just babbling without really saying anything.

One of my favorite moments that shows their bond was in Yearbook where Lucas showed Farkle that being voted 'most likely to be Farkle' wasn't a bad thing. He told him that he's glad that he has him, a loyal, loving best friend, in his life, and that he never wants to lose him.
