^ Exactly. I think Mr. Turner would have tried very hard to give off a cool facade but nobody would have believed him. Do you think he was so scared by the ups and downs of the ride that he screamed at any point? =)

Considering how bad that rollercoaster was supposed to be, I'm sure he was screaming

^ I think so too. I imagine Mr. Turner screamed his head off when he was on the ride, but then he pretended that it didn't happen when the ride finished its run.

Mr. Turner couldn't resist rubbing it in Mr. Feeny's face that things didn't turn out the way he thought they would.

I can't imagine any situation where Turner wouldn't want to rub that in a little

^ Yup! That moment confirms that Mr. Turner could teach Mr. Feeny plenty of lessons, despite the fact that Mr. Turner didn't have the amount of teaching experience that Mr. Feeny had. =p

It did, I guess Turner just had great instincts as a teacher

^ Oh, yes. Mr. Turner figured out that his students weren't going to be happy when he told them that he wasn't going to give them a test and then he tried to give them a test. He really knew his students well.

I love that! Mr. Turner gave off an cool, casual vibe when he was teaching his students. He seemed to put them all at ease.

He must have done, he just looks so effortlessly chill, must have been a breath of fresh air

^ Oh, yes. I love that Mr. Turner gave off a cool, casual vibe. I bet his students still remember the lessons that he taught them, because he made learning so fun, they didn't feel like they were learning those lessons.

^ I think so too. I wonder if Mr. Turner's cool, casual teaching style meant he didn't have to give his students lower grades because they picked up his lessons faster, or if it didn't made any difference because even the best teacher isn't going to get a classroom full of 'A' students. What do you think? =)

I'm sure that his style probably worked better for some students, but not all of them. No matter what, some just weren't going to grasp the content

^ I think so too. Even though Mr. Turner tried his best to make sure his students understood his lessons and they learned what he wanted them to learn, there were going to be moments where they didn't grasp the material. All he could do was to try his best and to be available to them if/when they needed some extra help.

I love that moment! Mr. Turner may have been the cool, new teacher, but he was still a teacher. It was so fun to see Cory realize that fact.

It was, Cory couldn't get away with doing whatever he wanted - Turner was definitely going to keep him in check!

^ Exactly. Mr. Turner had to make sure Cory and the rest of the students knew from his first day on the job that he wasn't going to go easy on them. He expected them to respect him as their teacher and to put in the work to learn the lessons he taught them in his class.
