^ I completely agree. I think Ceci's ability to steal a scene convinced TPTB that she was the right person to play Smackle.

^ I agree. Ceci brought a lot of heart to Smackle's scenes, which is why I connected with her.

Smackle explaining page 73 is one of my favorite Smackle moments. I don't doubt that every single person in that room was left traumatized at the end of her lesson.

^ Oh, yeah. Smackle put everything she had into her demonstration/presentation. Nobody in that room was going to be able to get it out of their heads.

I would have loved it if teachers had let her teach some of those hard lessons that they had a hard time teaching. =)

^ Yes, she does. I loved seeing how Smackle's style evolved as she grew up. It would have been kind of fun to see her try different styles until she found the style that she loved and that worked for her.

^ I think so too. I feel like Smackle made a similar entrance every time she was introduced at the beginning of the academic competition she took part in.
