I saw it on youtube.

First things I didn't enjoy...

I thought this episode was good but not a series finale. Season, sure.

The whole idea of Riley moving and her saying goodbye felt lame because she ended up not even leaving after all.

Riley really didn't seem to care about Lucas at all. All the digs against them were shocking to me. And they totally broke up? Because they said their goodbyes and talked about one another in a past tense. I found that strange. They didn't even kiss each other goodbye? This show is definitely portraying them at the "Friends" couple. No passion there at all. And I loved how they said "FIRST" gf/bf as if its implied they have more.

I also found it interesting that Farkle basically said he liked Smackle because they were so similar. Not a lasting relationship to me.

The two Morgan thing was just weird. Were they seriously implying there were two aunt morgans? I realize the actress changed but its such a dumb SL for the show for real. Had one of the morgans ran into the other and said something funny, or had auggie met the 1st morgan and said "you look just like my aunt morgan in her kid photos" or something like that i think it would have been funnier.

Things I enjoyed:
-Maya and her GORGEOUS hair and outfit. <3 as always. Love her growth and saying hope isnt for suckers.
-Rilaya friendship being the most important.
-Farkle/Maya cheek kiss (though I had wished it was riarkle instead)
-Lucaya banter and little looks in the episode.
-zay moments with lucas, riley and smackle.
-Seeing some of the old cast and the eric/feenie and turner/shawn scenes

This show definitely needs more seasons, it feels unfinished.

yes it is...and for those who want to watch Friday in addition to the OPs instruction... it's probably best to stay off of tumblr and any social media relating to GMW ... I'm going to check how active the GMW spoiler thread is

How was that a series finale? They left that WIDE open! Had they decided to leave then its a finale but that left doors opened. I bet they are putting out a bid for Netflix.

100 agree with that entire post.

The morgan thing was STUPID!

and RL were barely shown as a couple so breaking up didnt really matter at all? That was their relationship together? Really? So weird. and now that Riley's moving at they back together or will the break up just stick? LMAO.

Agreed with comments about how this seemed more of a season finale than a series finale. Did they even know it might be their last ep ever when they filmed it? If not, maybe that’s why.

My favorite part was Rilaya. Especially their last scene. The way those two look at each other is just :sigh:. It’s my headcanon those two will eventually realize they are in love with each other.

I also enjoyed Smackle’s “Yeah, you’re a threat!” Smarkle are my second favorite couple, after Rilaya, and Smackle and Farkle my favorite characters. So, I'm glad the show left them at a good place as individuals and a couple.

Nice seeing Shawn, but I really hate the nuclear family obsession that so many tv writers seem to have. Even if I liked Katy/Shawn as a couple (which I don’t tbh, I just don’t see any spark between them), I would have hated pseudo nuclear family cheese being shoved down my throat. Also, I generally hate how they chose to portray Katy as a trainwreck who can’t properly take care of her daughter without the help of the "perfect" middle class family and a random dude. She deserved better as a character imo.

The writers/cast didn't know it was canceled until this year. That is why if felt more like a season finale and not a series finale.

Slayerette89: Rilaya are my guilty pleasure couple.

I enjoyed it personally. The only ones who really acknowledged that there were two of them was Eric (who's arguably not always there) and Auggie. Josh said "My Sister" and not "my sisters." And Auggie's comment about if there was going to be two of him and Riley saying it's too late is a reference to the show ending (and thus no need to cast a second Auggie)

Other shows have done similiar stuff like Roseanne

Spoiler:

Or Reba

Spoiler:

Or more recently... Fuller House

Spoiler:

Or Veronica Mars movie

Spoiler:

Heck.. Deadpool is full of it.

While it is a little weird, I thought it was a great way to have a Reunion of sorts with both of them able to reprise their role, but I admit if it comes back for another season SOMEHOW it would be weird to have both them on the screen at the same time again (unless they rotate the actresses).

Thought it was a bit weirder to bring in Minkus and Harley and not have them say anything in the episode, they brought them there for advice after all... of course it could have been cut for time constraints.

But thats not the same to me. Those were poking fun and had the show poked fun at their being two Morgans, like how I mentioned running into 1 and saying "you look like my aunt morgan when she was a kid" or whatever.... that would make more sense to me. But it doesnt make sense why this random chick would be in the living room with them???? I mean, they were implying the "first" morgan was their aunt so who was the blonde morgan supposed to be? she was the older morgan so it makes more sense for her to be the real morgan.

i dont know if im making sense but theres a difference between the shows teasing things, which i love, and this show just ploping both of them down in the same scene.

like, it would have been funnier had one morgan been in the room and talked to auggie.... then she said she had to go to the bathroom and when she came back it was a different actress. TAHT would have been sort of funny (if they morgans looked more alike in real life) but having them both sitting there was what was weird to me.
