This might not make a lot of sense, but 'yay' just fits her nicely. She is so bubbly and light, so you can just imagine that she's trying to contain her 'yays' all of the time.  =p__________________

I don't think it's a coincidence that her name rhymes with 'smiley'. TPTB wanted us to see her as a positive light in everyone's lives, and they kept that thought in mind when they wrote her interactions with the other characters. =D  __________________

^ Yes, she did. She brought so much sunshine to the lives of the people that she interacted with, regardless of the connections that she had or didn't have with them (i.e. if they were friends or family or if they were people who had never met her before that moment).
