I didn't like that they did that to him. I remember Rider and Will pointing out in commentary for an episode that while Eric got dumber Shawn got smarter. They were having a good laugh about that.

Yeah I know. I also thought it was a shame that we never got to see Eric in a serious relationship. He never had a relationship that lasted more than one episode except for that Southern Girl who was just using him

I would have liked to see that too. Eric grew up in some ways on the show, and I think it would have been nice to see how he grew in a relationship.

^ agreed. Like the thanksgiving episode perhaps. Family is needed. Boy Meets World is about relationships, friendships and family and i'm sure Girl meets world would be like that.
