Maybe, I'm not sure they would have been able to take the girls even if they had taken them seriously though

^ That's true. Mankind told Eric and Jack that they couldn't touch the girls above the belts, which made it tough because all they saw was girly parts. Do you think Eric and Jack could have avoided getting their butts kicked by the girls in the steel cage match? Could they have somehow convinced the girls to give up the apartment, or did they lose the apartment before the fight even started? =)

I think they really didn't have a chance any way, the girls decided they were having that apartment, & nothing was going to get them to change their minds!

I do think it was quite rude of Rachel to assume she was getting the apartment & to then move Topanga & Angela in though...

^ Yes to your whole post!

I completely agree. Nothing Eric and Jack could have said or done would have changed the girls' minds. They were very determined to keep the apartment.

Exactly. Why did Rachel assume that Jack was going to move out because he was uncomfortable living with her? Rachel moved in with the guys, not the other way around. She should have talked to him and made sure he was moving out before she asked Topanga and Angela to move in.

Exactly, it was Jack & Eric's apartment originally, don't know what made Rachel think it was hers

Hate that the writers made her act like that, it was quite an unlikeable thing that she did...

^ Exactly. Rachel really put Eric and Jack through unnecessary drama when she kicked them out of their apartment so that Topanga and Angela could move in. Where did she think they were going to go? I don't understand why TPTB made that choice. Eric could have moved back into the apartment with Jack and Rachel, and they could have started to repair their group dynamic, and Topanga and Angela could have just as easily avoided Cory and Shawn until they got back together with them if they had stayed in their dorm room.

There was definitely an easy solution there, really don't know why the writers took it in the direction that they did - especially as it all changed up relatively quickly after that anyway

^ Exactly. One of the reasons that I think TPTB shouldn't have done the roommates storyline at the beginning of season seven at all is that they delayed the re-connection of the trio until about the halfway point of the season.

What an intriguing screencap! Jack did not appreciate Eric upping their bet.

Nope, but it was Jack's fault for getting involved in the bet in the first place!

^ That's true. Jack may have made the bet, but Eric upping it put them in a sticky situation. I wonder how they managed to smooth things over so that they could return from the Pennsylvania Amish community they were hiding out in.

^ Right? The only thing that I can come up with that Jack begged his mother or his stepfather for the money and they gave it to him on the condition that he start going to Gamblers Anonymous.

I am curious to find out why Jack and Eric are playing pool like that. What episode is that screencap from?

^ I re-watched that scene. Eric and Jack aren't even playing pool in that scene. It looks more like they are playing air hockey on the pool table.
