^ That's a shame. It would have been great if Cory getting that 'A' had inspired him to try harder in Mr. Feeny's class. I'm sure Mr. Feeny would have loved seeing Cory put in more of an effort into his schoolwork.

Definitely, as I think he must have always seen a lot of potential in Cory, & just wanted him to live up to it

^ Exactly. I think Mr. Feeny's hope was that Cory would realize that he had the potential to be a good student if he told him that he expected him to try.

I love that scene! Cory just could not get over the fact that Mr. Feeny expected him to wear a mini dress and pantyhose in the play.

He couldn't, Cory deserved it when he got 'demoted' in the play

^ I think so too. Mr. Feeny taught Cory that there were consequences to his decision to quit the play.

Yes, & Cory definitely needed some consequences with how arrogant he could be sometimes imo

^ Oh, for sure. Cory thought Mr. Feeny would let him be Hamlet after he quit the play and then he decided that he did want to do the play. It was a great life lesson for him to learn that he couldn't always get what he wanted.

I love that! Cory totally fell into Mr. Feeny's trap.

^ Oh, yes. Do you remember/know if Cory got better or worse at anticipating when Mr. Feeny was trying to get him to hint at the assignment or project he wanted to assign the class?

I think that Feeny did that less in high school, bt I don't think that was because Cory got better at knowing where Feeny was going with something

^ Oh, okay. I am going to have to remember to keep an eye out for those Cory/Mr. Feeny moments to see Cory's reactions/hear his comments when Mr. Feeny was getting ready to give the class an assignment or project.

^ I always loved those 'Cory and Mr. Feeny talk by the fence' scenes. What is happening in that scene again? =)

It's when Cory wanted advice about the movie he was making about Shawn & Jack

^ Oh, right. I think Cory knew that Topanga was right when she told him that he had to stop acting like he was emotionally involved in Shawn and Jack's story. He just needed to hear it from Mr. Feeny too.
