That was what they had both wanted for him

^ I love that parallel! Even though that Girl Meets World scene happened almost 20 years after that Boy Meets World scene, things hadn't changed one bit. Clearly Cory was just as disappointed and saddened by the fact that teenagers cared more about being liked as Mr. Feeny was when he lectured his students.

Unfortunately, I think that lesson will always be relevant, but at least it's one that I think most people learn at some point

& it's always great to get another Feeny/Cory parallel!

^ I think so too. If we do get a continuation of this universe, I hope that the students will have figured out that being liked isn't as important as knowledge.

Yes, it was. I always loved that Cory took the lessons that he learned from Mr. Feeny and he put his own take on them.

Me too, every time Cory echoed something Feeny had taught, it was extra special

^ Yes, it was. Cory putting his own take on the lessons that Mr. Feeny taught him was Cory's way of honoring Mr. Feeny.

Is that the moment where Cory walked into the classroom after Mr. Feeny said, "we were waiting for the lowest form of life to crawl out of the slime"?

Cory walking in right after Mr. Feeny said that -- it was perfect! Could Cory have picked a worse moment to make his appearance?

He always had the worst luck when it came to those kinds of things

^ Yes, he did.

Aw! What a sweet Mr. Feeny/Cory moment! Considering the fact that Cory didn't have much interest in his education/getting good grades, especially in the early years of the show, it was great to see how happy Cory was on his graduation day...and how proud Mr. Feeny was that Cory had made it through.

I'm sure that that graduation meant more to Feeny than any of the others

^ Oh, yeah. I just wish they had had more of a moment when Mr. Feeny gave Cory his diploma.

True, we could have gotten a bit more there. But I think they both knew how the other felt in that moment

^ I can buy that. Maybe they both felt that they didn't have to say anything, because they knew how they felt in that moment.

"You gave me bad advice, Feeny" / ... / "I'm not responsible for Dream Feeny!" -- I love that scene!
