^ I agree. In my head, I kinda think that Cory got up to some mischief, like he messed with Mr. Feeny's garden, so they got off on the wrong foot. I think that's why Mr. Feeny was probably always a little bit suspicious of Cory.

^ He is that. When you brought up the whole scary next-door neighbor scenario, it made me think of that scene in The Play's the Thing. Mr. Feeny did Hamlet's father's speech and Cory looked so scared. That probably brought up some scary memories for him.
