^ Yeah! I wanted history to repeat itself with the parents having a surprise child, because like you said, it would have been so awesome to get to actually see the pregnancy play out on-screen.

I can totally imagine Riley and Auggie jumping at the chance to help out...eventually.

...but he might not be so pleased to be a middle child.

Do you think Riley or his parents would be able to reassure him?

I think they definitely would notice if he was feeling left out & would do something to assure him

^ Yes! I can just imagine some sweet father-son moments where Cory would tell Auggie all about what it's like to be a middle child.

I think Riley would also do her best to make sure she stays as connected to Auggie as she can.

Yeah, I think Cory would definitely be able to relate to Auggie & make him feel better about it

& Riley would have gone out of her way to help Auggie deal with it too

^ Exactly. That's just what it's like to be a member of the Matthews family.

It would have been so great to watch how a baby would bring the family closer together. You just know that Riley and Auggie would be the best, most hands-on older siblings!

Now I want to see it, especially how Riley and Auggie would react. I can imagine them wanting to spend as much time as they can with the baby, which would have given us so many sweet moments.
