I expect a lot of people do, they do seem closer than most brother/sister relationships
 I wonder what it would have been like if the writers had kept Riley's older brother too.... __________________

^ Yeah. I think, if the show had continued on for another three seasons, we would have only watched them share even more sweet brother/sister moments.
    I think about that too. It would have been an interesting dynamic...but maybe TPTB didn't want to totally copy Boy Meets World by making the central character the middle child, so they made Riley the big sister to a brother.  __________________

It would have definitely slightly changed the dynamic between Riley and Auggie, that's for sure. =)__________________

 Maybe that was why TPTB decided that Cory and Topanga had two children instead of three. It gave them a chance to devote more time to Riley and Auggie.    __________________

^ That's true. The only way it would have worked is if Elliot had been the middle child.
I can't even imagine what the dynamic would have been like if there had been three Matthews children instead of just Riley and Auggie.   __________________

I kind of wish TPTB had gone with that storyline, if only to see how Riley and Auggie would have reacted to the news that they were going to have a baby brother or sister. =p__________________

My Cory/Topanga heart really wanted to see that too. I'd love to see Topanga pregnant & the two of them looking after their baby, & I'm sure Riley & Auggie would have had a lot great moments out of a storyline like that too
