Sara (Cold Mountain) Appreciation
 

In Cold Mountain Natalie had the minor role of Sara, someone Inman (Jude Law) meets. Despite not really liking that movie, I loved Sara and what Natalie did with her. The portrayal was just spot-on.

I saw part of this, but vagely remember Nat, I will have to re-watch it.

I totally agree :nod: overall it wasnt my sort of film but I thought Natalie stood out even though it was such a small role.

Right, her part did rock, but when doesn't she?

I know! Out of all the smaller roles, Natalie's is the one I remember the most. :)

Yeah, she was really the only part that meant anything to me.

I looove this movie, and the book is good, too. I was so impressed with Natalie's performance. This movie actually re-invigorated my appreciation for her acting. :glow: Plus, they filmed this movie in Virginia, near me, and I went to the casting call to be an extra, but they didn't call me back unfortunately!

Aww, that is still cool you got to go to the casting call, their loss for not calling you back.

Even though this was a small role for Natalie, she was really great in it. I love this movie. :)

She was great with what she was given.

I just love this movie to death. I have it on DVD. Natalie just did goregous in this film. :)
