Maybe Nikki was a blonde when she was little? I know natural hair colors can change. my husband went from very highly blonde at toddler age to the darkest blond by 20...

and girls do tend to dye their hair once they're teens.

nyeah, genes can work really weird now that you mention it, both my husband and I are blondes (I'm naturally a darker blonde than he is) and we had a strawberry blonde girl... she got it from her great-grandmother.

mine as well, though I was a little shocked the first time I saw it. I was thinking WTH... where did she get that? then I was reminded of her great-grandmother, and toms stubble has a ginger glow...

i have to say the exact color changes from day to day. so who knows how it'll turn out in a year or 2.
