There is a second Sneak Peek. Why is April changing to another table? This makes her already a traitor and is suspicious and funny. Maggie is right about what she says in the promo. Jackson should talk with Bailey that it is not good April is now Interminchef of General Surgery. And Riggs totally holds to Meredith. I think it's cute.

The treatment of April is making me so angry! And Maggie needs to gtfo, I can't stand her.
I'm only halfway through this episode and it's ridiculous Edit: I love that April just kicked Maggie out of the surgery! __________________

I wouldn't want to be a patient at this hospital right now. This was painful to watch. I really dislike Minnick and her know-it-all manner. But when she got in trouble she chickened out.
And I dislike April as well. I'm glad Jackson spoke straight words to her. I think she doesn't know what she got herself into with this job. The only scene I liked was when Stephanie went to Webber and he gave her comfort. __________________

I normally like April, and I don't specifically fault her for stepping in and taking Meredith's job for now. But yet I couldn't really sympathize with her this episode
I loved that Stephanie went to Webber __________________

I might be the only one here but I'm actually liking this and I'm gonna explain why.
No one is currently right. The right ideas are floating around tbut they are gelled together into one. Owen is probably the closest. Firstly, your chief has made a decision that they believe will benefit the hospital- they been saying since Season 5 that standards have dropped yet nothing changed- you may not agree with it but you have no option but to respect it. All of them haven't, most have acted like children about it but I won't start on the attendings. Agreed Bailey didn't present it in the best way but then most bosses don't and from today's episode I can see everyone has there place. Webber is rightly upset of being thrown under the bus with no real consideration or courtesy, but he is also currently unwilling to see the other side. Richard has a tried and tested teaching model, Minick has a newer teaching style that has proven results. Which can help them if supported, change is only beneficial when all parties are on board. Blocking it actually makes things worse for everyone involved plus the work environment. However, from today we saw that Richard has the experience which Minnick does not. That's not her fault, she cannot prepare or talk through something when she hasn't been though it herself. Running away wasn't the answer either as Steph needed answers which is why Arizona should have gone to her first but then oh well. It's where the new and the older collide. They need to come together. Using the experience and expertise of staff as an advantage using them to enhance what is in place to better all outcomes. People are always more willing firstly if they like you and also if there's a compromise. I.e instead of ambushing Webber about assisting Warren, putting to him that having him here instead of anyone else is not only better for Warren but also the patient as he's done million of these and he knows what to expect and can pitch in where needed but Warren will take the lead. Just my thoughts about it. |

I guess I don't see why April should have any loyalty a group of people she is not all that close with. I can see Jackson defending Richard, since he is married to his mother (even though she seemed to forget this fact). But April is no longer married to Jackson and was never close to Richard.
She isn't close to Maggie or Meredith, she owes them nothing. Anyone in her place would self-advance because they are doctors and she has had so many set backs in the past that she may want to show she is capable of being in a prominent position. IMO I would do the same if I was her. No showed no loyalty to people who don't mean much to her, if we are being honest, lol. __________________

I think Jackson is a different case because he is always going to react pretty poorly to any situation where it looks like April is putting her job ahead of personal loyalty, given their history. |

It's just sad to see April as an outsider now. And though she is trying making friends with Catherine and Bailey or Minnick, they can't replace what she had with the others.

Finally, someone fought against privilege Meredith Grey, whose whole career is based on her mother impact in medicine.
Why should April be sad because she is not a part of some "group" and is an outsider? She is a single mother now and even if she wasn't, career is way more important than some "friends" who disliked her for a long time. Minnick or whatever her name is, is awful. She is just another sexually attractive lipstick lesbian, who was meant to attract some straight audience or something, but she is on Maggie level of dull and generic. |

Exactly. What Catherine said is absolutely true. Jackson was born into a legacy, as was Meredith. They worked hard but didn't have to come up from nothing to prove themselves. Plus April was already fired twice, opportunity isn't so easy to come by for her. Who is she to turn down a chance to prove herself?
Jackson may have seen it as another act of disloyalty but he isn't the one living off their ex-spouse in their old martial apartment. April may feel inadequate and insecure. __________________

An episode focused on April? No thanks....
Why is Lea back again? What has she done thats been of any relevance? Minnick sucks, please, leave. Nothing to like about this episode whatsoever. Alex deserves so much more! And Jackson deserves and actual storyline, or Ben for that matter! And Owen, I forgot he was even on the show. I'm team Maggie. April can go suck it. And Japril continue to suck! Like, so bad. They are the most obnoxious and worst greys couple to exist, period. |
