PrettyBoy [Jackson Avery/Jesse Williams] #3: We miss badass Jackson.
 

I figured we could decide a title in the new thread.

I just watched the episode where Harper Avery arrives in Seattle Grace. No wonder why Jackson didn't choose Cardio.:lol:

I did not like his scenes early season 6 because he looked like a second best to Cristina. I did love him and his gramps though.:nod:

I liked when he tackled the guy with the axe :lol: I miss that badass Jackson.

I just watched that today! I kind of found his fighting over surgeries with Cristina pathetic...:no::lol:

I didn't think it made him look hardcore. It just made him look second best all the time. He was constantly reminded that he never measured up. He had to find his own specialty. It is ironic given his physical appearance that he chose plastics but I think it makes him more confident than cardio would have.

I just meant in that episode where he first showed up. He overshadowed Cristina by doing that and everyone was clapping :lol:

Yeah I agree that was an awesome moment.:lol:

But I hated how Teddy treated him after the fact. That's why I was glad when he began to share less scenes with Cristina.

Actually for me this is probably Jackson's opportunity not to look like a doormat. People saw him as Harper Avery's goodlooking grandson and did not respect him outside of his name. He got the second best treatment by Teddy/Cristina, he got used by Lexie and I can admit April made him feel used a little too. Then we all see how the board treats him. I think the only way for him to come up from underneath people's poor expectations of him is to prove people wrong. And this is why I didn't think seasons 6/7 were that great for him, albeit he had some awesome moments.:lol:

He really has to step up to the board members, I don't get how the writers don't see how awful they are to him. Well they are realizing a little because of what he said to April at the end of last episode.
They just have to suck up he's in charge.

I don't think it will be so easy because they are bitter that they didn't get sole custody of the hospital. It is made worse by the fact that they have to share with Harper Avery's spoiled grandson in their eyes. They think he is spoon fed.:lol:

I think at the end of the episode it was made obvious to everyone how unprofessional the survivors are. They made a close bunch of friends but it is why they are unfit to run a hospital. Probably Jackson does it better because he isn't an original and does not feel that same obligation/loyalty they feel towards each other. He really only feels that for April, since they started off together.

Maybe the title should be that we miss badass Jackson?

I am disappointed in Jackson from last episode. I hate Stephanie.:bawl:

I actually like Stephanie. If I'm disappointed in Jackson is because he's leading her on and will probably end up breaking her heart.

As a female I should feel sorry for her but I can't because of obvious biases:lol:. Seriously she called April a dud when currently she is behaving like one for taking anything she can get from a guy. But looking past that I do think it is sad that she is being lead on and he should have just told her the truth last episode. I still hate that they used his character to evoke sympathy from the audience. Like we're supposed to feel pity for her that she fell for a guy who loves someone else.

I think the interns would have been more successful in general had they not leached on other characters to gain popularity. Everytime she has a scene with Jackson he comes out looking bad and that makes me resentful. The truth of the matter is that she is not successful. Why? Because people were already invested in Jackson's love story with someone else to care that some nobody introduced this season is feeling sorry for herself for injecting herself in their story. She'd have been more successful as a mini-Cristina than what she currently is.

I would love to join. I am first and foremost a Jackson/Jesse Williams fan. I can't believe I missed this until now.

How did you find his scenes tonight? I thought they were not good...First of all he was used as a cheerleader for a contrived cheating storyline between Arizona and Lauren and then he just stood there while April was proposed to be a moron.

The only thing I loved tonight was that he mentioned Mark. Hoping it leads to more next week.
