They're an interesting pair. I don't think they'll ever be buddy buddy friends, they just don't mesh that way, but perhaps on a case? Their different points of view could offer good tension on a morally grey situation with a patient. Unless that's happened before, hah (not including the end of season 9).

I liked how Derek let him help build the porch in that one male centric episode and I also liked how he literally ran for Derek when Morgan's baby was having problems in surgery. Maybe we will see more as time goes on.

if the show continues on after season 10 and Patrick and Justin stay on, maybe we will see more bonding between them as Bailey grows older.
