It feels like they lost.. and I continue to believe it started before the DC thing, last season it was all about being parents and they forgot themselves along the way too. Than the broken promise from Derek, the DC thing, Derek travelling back and forth and Mer feeling stuck at work.

it's taking longer than I though. maybe it feels that way because they just had that one scene where it seemed they can make progress (eppy 4) I wouldn't count the shower scene. as hot as it is. IT is a timeout.
