I think the interview states

It's really a moment of realization that she is going to move on as well. It was really a she wants to commit to something that isn't me moment].

Interview goes on to state:

It would be interesting to go to the other side and recede back an adolescent resentment. It could be natural and fun or it could set us back. It really matters what he sees, when he sees it and how much time he has to assemble a response." [IMO I think the last scene establishes how he will react to April going forward. And I gather from 9x17 Jackson would consider going to boston etc. I wonder what would make him stay?]

With regards to the fling with stephanie and what it means [ I gathered from Jerrika's afterbuzz that she will like avery moving away from more the crush territory. I am not sure how the wedge plays but there will be some confusion between both].

So its a rectangle that will drag till forever. I am not so sure J/A will be back even though majority love 'em. I am curious as to why A loves the next episode in light of her saying looking forward to where relationship with Matt goes.

Am I wrong for seeing Jackson as taking a step back in terms of growth? He went to the extreme end. I will now try to enjoy the show [its hard for me because i only began watching because I loved the dynamic of both characters from season 6, it was obvious to me]

On Afterbuzz, when Jerrika said the interns have the option to get picked up for the new season, the whole time I kept saying don't get picked up because I don't want her to be anymore involved with Japril. She can leave by season end. Jackson and April can be happy, and everything will be right in the world.

I know.. But I am not going to get my hopes up for anything.. I am just going to sit and wait until Jackson and the intern break up because it is going to eventually happen. It has to. Then after that moment happens, my hopes are going straight to the roof because then in my mind it will be a matter of time until Jackson/April happen..

Sure I'd like to see them. I usually can't get much out of them. But maybe I haven't been reading them in the right light.

I agree. I would not care if the intern has real feelings for Jackson, if she finds out about Jackson's true feelings for April. I would actually start respecting her if/when she finds out about them, and she takes a stand and says she's not doing this.. Basically saying she is not going to be second choice..

I am trying to be optimistic about the possibility of Jackson trying to make it work the intern. Even though they may actually start dating, they are not going to last because nothing ever lasts on Grey's. So I am just waiting for the time for someone in the relationship to realize that they are not working, and then move forward in their lives because Jackson is going to find his way back to April.. I just have to be patient, and that is one thing I'm not. But I'm staying optimistic.
