What do you all want to see on the second half of the season?


I want:
-Amelia's relapse to be very very short and have her and Mer bury the hatchet
-Owen's sister? secret reveal but not for it to take too much screentime
-Alex actually paying attention to Jo whether she says no or yes. And more Alex in general
-April and Jackson's storyline moving forward

I have mixed feelings about the first thing you mentioned. Because if it's short, then it can be wrapped up by the season finale. But if it's long, this is the opportunity to bring back characters we actually love and care about, such as Addison and Charlotte. At the same time, though, this would be twice as much drama for Owen. Then again, Amelia could be in scenes with Addison and Charlotte. Kind of like Private Practice within Grey's Anatomy. Not a complete spin-off or a mini PP reunion. Or it could be a mini PP reunion to save Amelia. I don't know... I'd rather have it be a mini PP reunion, that way we can focus on the other characters and Amelia will be in the PP universe once again.

As much as I love Jackson/April, I think they're done. Or as done as they can be for now. They need a good year or two apart to realize that they're missing one another. For now, I really think there was something that could have happened between April and Arizona in 11x07, but April just totally shot Arizona down. And then that fire chick shot Arizona down in 11x08. We were left on a cliffhanger with Japril, and I really hope we see them together in 11x09 or at least 11x10. Plus, I think it'd be more realistic drama for April since she was raised in a religious family and they probably have the same beliefs about gay and lesbian relationships that Callie's mother did. You know, a bit homophobic and against the whole idea of two girls being together.

Owen's sister... I don't know about this. We've known Owen for six or seven years now. All of a sudden he has a sister? Or had a sister? I mean, I think they only did this to drive Amelia and Owen closer (with him losing his sister and her losing Derek, something she's not over as of 11x08)... not that I have an issue, but isn't there another way? Why does Owen have to have a dead sister and be in a relatable situation with Amelia and her dead brother.

As for Jolex, I would like more screentime dedicated to them. I want more of them interaction, talking about their relationship to one another. I want to see them planning their wedding, fighting about things engaged couples fight about. Not stupid things like they have been for the past season. I want them to eventually get married, wherever that may be… if it's in the Iowa cornfields or in the hallways of Grey-Sloan, as long as they say their "I Do's" and get what they deserve and what we have been waiting for for three seasons.

I'm having mixed feelings about the premiere in a couple weeks. I don't know what's going to happen to Jolex or Japril. I am sick of Meredith being victimized once again, and Alex neglecting Jo for her again.
