1.3 'Winning The Battle, Losing the War' Episode Discussion
 

This thread is for the discussion of the next GA episode Winning the Battle, Losing the War which airs Sunday April 10, 10/9c.

When the annual bicycle messenger race takes place in Seattle, the hospital emergency room fills with an assortment of injuries, causing the interns to compete for the most severe cases. Meanwhile, Derek and Burke compete for the chief resident position, and while Derek continues to pursue Meredith romantically, a patient flirts with George.

I'm actually slightly excited for this and it's only Wednesday.

The interns will be like kids in a candy store, it's going to be hilarious.

Hell yeah! All those messengers hurt and broken! I'm not laughing at their pain and misery too much but mostly for Sandra Oh's line! :lmao:

I haven't seen the preview. I'm gonna go get it though because I know exactly where to. ;)

Who'll get the chief resident postion? Derek or Preston? :look:

I can't wait to see the next episode, I'm getting adicted to the show. I'm happy to see the show has such a strong fanbase already, there's a hope they will air more episodes soon. Who needs Boston Legal? ;)

This ep does look good. I'm curious to see how the patient crushing on George works out. I bet he's going to be sooo cute. :)

I'm not sure who makes chief. I sorta hope its Preston, because if Derek gets it, might make life with Meredith more difficult. ;)

You know, I believe it's Richard's job they're after -- Chief of Surgery, i.e. head honcho of all surgical matters in all of Seattle Grace. Based on what i've learned from Scrubs, i'm guessing Bailey is already considered a chief resident since she's got her own interns to deal with (much like J.D. and Elliott got when they were made Co-Chief Residents at the beginning of the season).

Everything i've learned about medicine i've learned from TV... is that bad?
