Ethan's dad kept insisting for him to go this tire shop and put snow tires on the car his dad had. They kept arguing about it, and his dad kept insisting that it be done. While he was having that done, his dad's caregiver called and said that his dad has passed

Ethan figured it out, his dad had done this because he didn't want Ethan to see him die.
