Chicago Med 1x18 "Timing" (Season Finale) - Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) tends to the care of Dr. Downey (guest star Gregg Henry) while Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) is forced to deal with personal issues. April (Yaya DaCosta) bears the brunt of a punch while attending to a disorderly patient, but the incident could actually prove to be a blessing in disguise. Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) discovers Goodwin has a trick up her sleeve and Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) finds her past catching up with her. Sarah's (Rachel DiPillo) graduation day finally arrives, but she remains conflicted about mapping out her career plans for the future. Meanwhile, at the urging of Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt), Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) turns to an unlikely source for help. Marlyne Barrett also stars.

Colin Donnell's acting was so good, he had me in tears.

OK I can't lie - I totally love the parrot too! Ethan was so excited that he learned to say something new and something so ordinary, yet meaningful. Nice touch of having an animal help a vet with PTSD and yet not the usual dog.

Of course I knew that Will would get an offer from Med but happy that it was taken care of in the finale. Great how Maggie let him know that Goodwin had to be pulling for him or the job offer would absolutely not have happened.

The scenes with Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Downey were heart breaking. Colin was awesome in all of them! When he arrived at the beach with urn - that was the scene that made me cry the most.

Dr. Reese missed graduation because of her concern for a patient - that in itself should prove where her talents are. So now she has no job, no prospects, no idea what to do next. That's kind of a nice cliffhanger for next season.

Back to Will for a sec - so now there's yet another obstacle in his path in his pursuit of Dr. Manning. Interesting that they brought in someone from Fire and an old friend too. It's never going to be easy for Will IMO.

I felt so bad for Sharon and her husband issues. I haven't even met him and don't like him because of how he's dealing with his marriage. How archaic to expect his wife to retire just because he has. Not very supportive and quite childish. Loved that Maggie went to check on her when she didn't come in - true friendship.

I enjoyed this finale. It set up some nice SL's for next season without anyone being on the brink of death. That was nice for a change.

If Natalie & Jeff were friends, shouldn't she have known he was a med-student? If he's going into this fourth year then they were still friends before her husband died.. But okay, it's tv.

So two years ago Jeff Clarke was a LT in CFD & he hurt his back & now he is a 4th year Med student......oh okay.

Nice to see him back on my screen though. I loved him on Fire.

I loved the episode. I am glad that Will took the offer.

I cried when Connor was in the water with Dr. Downey's ashes.

I like that Reese was there waiting for news about the baby.

Anybody else laughing so much when Choi was teaching the parrot how to fly? I die in all his scenes pretty much.

Also, I loved Dr. Charles' reaction to Reese's (sorry Dr. Reese now ) resignation. He is the best.

YES! I was laughing so bad at him flapping his arms and shouting fly. It's nice he was so excited both then the parrot say be back (or whatever it was) and flew to him.

Dr. Charles get's me every time, Sarah had absolutely no idea what to do when he said that to her
