One Chicago - NBC Multiseries - 10,000 Posts Celebration Thread

We did it! The board is brand new
and we're already at 10K posts. I can't say how
exciting it is to reach this goal with all the fellow
CPD fans on this amazing board. This show is one
of my favorite shows and the moment and I love
talking about it with everyone. I want to thank
everyone who has ever posted on this board for
making it such a nice place to post at. You guys are
all amazing! Here's to our 10K and to many more! Cheers!

I was so excited about Chicago PD coming on TV.
I have always loved detective shows that have
heart and this show is no exception. It shows
how they work together and their personal struggles.
I am on the edge of my seat when I am watching the
show. From the first second that it aired until the latest
episode's last scene. I want to see what happens.
I love coming to this board and I will continue to.

I only love this show because of Jesse
Lee Soffer’s freckles, really….haha…but seriously it’s
much more that that…it’s bc it’s real, bc it doesn’t
pretend something it’s not, bc it gives us the most multi
dimensional characters and great story lines for them, bc
it has such a great writing with the best one-liners,
bc it makes us laugh and cry and sometimes both at the
same time, bc it draws us in with each since episode, scene,
minute, second, bc it blesses us with amazingly talented
actors that have the most genuine chemistry, bc it respects
us, bc it gave us Linstead and bc it makes us come back for more.

From the moment that I heard about this spinoff I knew that it was going to be special.
Having watched Fire all of last season I had already been introduced to Voight and
Antonio and was so happy when I heard that they were going to be fronting the show
together. As more cast members signed on, I got more and more hooked. Having been
a long time fan of Sophia Bush I was especially excited to see her on board.
Myself and a few other posters started the campaign thread for the show early
on and I'm so excited to see that not only did we get a board but our board
is thriving. I love the show. I love the mix of grit, angst and comedy. Not to mention the
family vibe I get off the characters. I've yet to come across an character on the show that
I've not liked. I'm loving the Chicago franchise and I can't wait to see it expand further.
We're only seven episodes in and I already feel like so much is happened yet we're just
getting to know the characters. I'm so so psyched to mod the board and see the show

It was no surprise to see a board on Fan Forum for Chicago
PD due to it's imminent success on air. I'm so glad
and proud that we're already celebrating 10,000 posts on
here! The actors make this show so enjoyable and believable,
which is why I come post on a regular basis and why I watch
every week. Posting on this board has been so much fun
with the regular posters on here already! Thank you! And
here's to more celebrations at the Chicago PD board!
