It definitely looks that way. Episode description says they're still looking for her, and if it was her at the morgue they wouldn't be.
I can't see Severide going anywhere at all. |

We kind of had that storyline with him last season, too. When he considered moving to be with Anna.

Glad that Bria isn't dead and that Gabby and Casey are on the same page. Also did they just give us an end to that storyline? She's staying with them until her dad is released next week? So after that it's done?
I loved the Bria/Severide scenes. He really cares about that girl. I wish he had been more allowed to express to Casey that he didn't like being cut out of the loop the way he was in the past episode. Wasn't really fair to him when he had been there all along. Brett having welding skills was brilliant. Would love to know more about her past. Stella's date with Zach was fun, and I don't hate him, but once again, it's obvious stellaride is happening, so as much as it's a fine side story, what's the point? Loved Brett and Antonio both asking about the other, and we all know she doesn't return Cruz's feelings. The slamigan was brilliantly hilarious. Loved it. |

2. hope that 3. don't think he was being cut out intentionally. think it was more an impulsive decision from casey to go with gabby than cutting severide out. 4. sometimes it needs just a little more time for people to realize what they mean to each other. and you know in television it can take years 5. liked that too and i am glad it worked out. wonder if there is really something going between cruz and brett |

Severide definitely wasn't intentionally being cut out, Matt was only thinking about Gabby and their marriage in that moment, but I still would have liked him to acknowledge that Severide had been involved from the start.
I'm thinking Stella/Severide is probably going to play out over the season. Can't see anything happening between Cruz and Brett, she doesn't feel the same way, tbh, she's hung up on Antonio. |

I'm glad it wasn't Bria in the morgue. I'm glad that she finally decided to seek Gabby out. It also seems like it is a similar storyline as Louie. I see that Gabby wants to help, but it almost seems like a repeat storyline.
I did like Severide with Bria. That was nice. It good to see Matt & Gabby finally talking to each again. Severide walking in on Stella's date was awkward, but a little funny too. Antonio and Sylvie asking Gabby about each other. It was a surprise to see that that Sylvie had welding skills. It was great to see how support she was of Cruz and his vision , but I don't see anything happening there. I don't see that she will return the feelings. She thinks of him as a brother/friend. There broke up before because she just didn't feel it for him. Besides, we all know who she does have feelings for. __________________

It definitely is similar to the Louie story. It worried me when I first heard about it because Gabby annoyed me during the Louie story with the pushing Matt away even with him helping her take shortcuts. There was no real reason for her to insist on doing that alone, seemed like it was just drama for dramas sake. This one has been different in the sense that it did seem she was keeping Matt out of it because she knew he didn't agree with it, and they did verbalise this (that time where he said it didn't matter if he approved or whatever), but it was still a little annoying because there was never any real conversation until pretty much after the fact and they're married now. Also, what seemed like Matt's jealousy over her spending time with Severide was nagl seeing as if Severide hadn't gone with her, Gabby could have got herself in serious trouble - she had no idea what she was walking into.
Stella/Severide are keeping things light, even if that isn't intentional. Unlike the annoying will they/won't they stories I'm used to, this is amusing me. Of course they asked about each other Gabby should have told them they asked about each other I don't even think Cruz really has feelings for her. I think he just sees what Otis has with Lily and wants something like that for himself. Brett's just there and there's history. |
