The articles with the showrunners and Brian Tee on deadline all but state that Yaya came back to help close out their storyline. It's supposed to make us dance (so says the showrunner). Not sure I trust it because sometimes writers and showrunners over-inflate their 'genius' and are out of touch with what the audience wants. And they could've done better with these characters YEARS ago. But we'll watch and see her first real appearance is in this week's episodes. However, all of the BTS has been with April, Maggie, and Will. She's in plain clothes. Hopefully, she meets Choi for a date. Something we've NEVER seen.
