Here's an article that addresses Sophia's leaving the series......sort of. There must have been something that happened to make her leave so suddenly - something they would rather not talk about. But honestly, who knows? :shrug:

Yeah, I can't get over that she completely cut him off without a word. Maybe she doesn't know what to say but he literally saved her life so answering a phone call doesn't seem to be too much to ask. I hope this happens in a future episode.

It's nice to see she is supportive of her former cast mates. It would have been nice to hear a statement from her directly about her departure. I thought she was waiting for the first episode to air, but I guess not.
