I'm glad we got to know the backstory of that little boy. To me it makes me love his character even more for him to still care so much about that family is touching. I just hope he doesn't risk his career because as sad and sickening as all of that is losing his badge won't bring that boy back :( That guy deserves to pay for what he more than likely did, but it's obvious that his father will always provide him with that alibi. Jay wanting justice after all these years is incredible it's clear that he truly believes in honor and standing up for the badge. Yes he may have gone pretty far in his quest for justice, but I believe it comes from a place in his heart.

Agreed, his loyalty to that family and the fact that he still want's to make what happened right shows what a great guy he really is.
