I think the PM said 90% of Barbuda is rubble:(

Sam_MC 09-08-2017 03:13 AM

And now Mexico :(

Nature is not playing.

And the earthquake appears to have created tsunamis :(

Also, It comes out today, and I am admittedly amused at the reviewers wondering what happened to Stephen King as a child. Wait until you read the book, lol.

Definitely not a good time to be anywhere just south of the USA... :(

Cristofle 09-08-2017 09:37 AM

It looks like Jose is going to hit the Caribbean too???? At one point are we going to acknowledge climate change is a thing?

Maria Sharapova does not realize how racist her book makes her sound like when talking about Serena. She's upset that she has not been able to beat Serena the last 18 times they've played that she thinks Serena is upset since that one loss she got from Maria. The drugs done fried her brains.

Mean while the world is clearly ending right? We done pissed Mother Nature the **** off.

Keeping my fingers crossed for those who've not been able to get out of the way in Florida in time.

Cristofle 09-09-2017 08:52 PM

Key West is one of my favorite places:( I think it was one of the first places to start to really get hit.

mjgchick 09-10-2017 09:50 PM

Brickell is drowning yet Ann Culter and Roush will tell their idiot supporters how Climate Change is a hoax. Beaches are literally evaporating. Mother Nature ain't even through because of the eartchquake aftershocks, tornados and I think a god damn tsunami.

Cristofle 09-11-2017 05:09 AM

Lena, you have power? My FL friends seem about half and half.

mjgchick 09-11-2017 09:40 AM

Yeah I have power. I never lost it. Irma didn't really deliver like Andrew did for us.

Cristofle 09-11-2017 10:23 AM

It does seem like a lot of people in FL lost power, but at least Irma is moving- what really crushed Houston is that Harvey just settled over the city and dumped rain on them for days and days.

Gemma_H 09-12-2017 07:55 AM

I'm glad that things in Florida didn't turn out to be anywhere near as bad as predicted. I've got a few online friends around there, and was quite worried for them for a while.

Sad to see the UK taking another step towards a Tory dictatorship... :(

You know, I liked Alexis Bledel's work on Handmaid's Tale, but I can't say I expected her to get an Emmy before Lauren was even nominated for one, lol.
