I did like Chris in the 1st season and wanted them to get together after his first eps, but I hated that he always treated Rory as an after thought compared to Lorelai. Like when he inheritied a lot of money from his grandfather his first instinct was to by Lorelai a Castle but he had to be reminded that it might be a nice idea to set up a trust fund for her like it did with Gigi.

He always forgot about Rory.

So whilst I have issues with Luke I like him best with Lorelai overall.

Chris is not gonna get the daddy of the year award anytime soon,but character wise for me I liked Chris and Lorelai better Luke was the poor guy never good enough for her

Eh, ERW seems to be pictured with a lot of guys for 30 seconds. At least it's not as weird as Max/Isobel from Roswell dating actually during the show.
