He was a lot closer than Ryan was, lol

Cristofle 09-03-2021 07:54 PM

Marissa had such a clear type, lol.

stlavin95 09-03-2021 10:12 PM

She did, lol

Cristofle 09-04-2021 06:48 PM

And Alex fit that type, even. Johnny? Not even close.

stlavin95 09-05-2021 12:12 AM

Would have if they cast Cam or someone along those lines.

Cristofle 09-05-2021 05:36 PM

The issue with Johnny was ALL casting. He was not at all like he was written.

stlavin95 09-05-2021 06:37 PM

Not in the slightest

Cristofle 09-06-2021 01:04 PM

I mean, Johnny was a bad idea. LOL. It was basically a target on Marissa's back. But the reason he was not her type, why he was such a spectacularly poor choice? THAT was casting.

stlavin95 09-07-2021 01:17 AM

Lol, definitely

Cristofle 09-08-2021 04:49 PM

Versus Volchok on a surface level was definitely her type, lol.

stlavin95 09-09-2021 04:28 AM

Yep, lol

Cristofle 09-09-2021 05:33 PM

Also, find an actor Mischa doesn't look at like she wishes he were dead, lol.

stlavin95 09-10-2021 03:00 AM

Would really help a lot, haha

Cristofle 09-11-2021 04:05 PM

THEY HAD TO HAVE SEEN THAT. IT WAS VIRTUALLY IMMEDIATE. What in the world....

stlavin95 09-11-2021 10:07 PM

Think even Stevie Wonder could see that, haha

Cristofle 09-12-2021 06:36 PM

It was extremely noticeable by the second episode he was in, I remember. That's when I noticed Mischa's whole vibe was way, WAY off of what could be seen of Marissa in the casting sides. Like, she was supposed to be "smiling softly" at him or something and Mischa just straight up rolled her eyes. Which I'd never seen before and never saw after him - it was specific to this storyline and this actor.

stlavin95 09-12-2021 08:00 PM

Yeah, not sure how no one picked up on that

Cristofle 09-13-2021 05:05 PM

I still wonder how directors just let that entire storyline skate, lol. Mischa looked actively pissed, but Ben was like...falling asleep, lol.

stlavin95 09-14-2021 02:06 AM

Don't think they cared, lol

Cristofle 09-14-2021 05:25 PM

I wonder "What was wrong with the director during the scene where Johnny got hit by a car?" And then I remember it was Tate. LMAO.

stlavin95 09-15-2021 12:36 AM

Really? Hahaha

Cristofle 09-15-2021 03:41 PM

And in the same episode, his smiling face was randomly cut into Marissa's trauma flashbacks, lolllllllll.

stlavin95 09-16-2021 03:39 AM

So ****ing weird, lol

Cristofle 09-16-2021 04:53 PM

I still remember noticing it and capping it that night and putting in the thread like W.T.F. I'm so sorry we lost all that S3 real time reaction goodness. LOL.

stlavin95 09-16-2021 11:42 PM

Would have loved to have seen that, haha
