On the Speidi podcast (the only time I can mention a podcast and quote Mischa directly, lol), Mischa mentions having to do kissing scenes with someone where there was a mutual attraction between them, which made things complicated and was “not great”. She doesn’t name them because she doesn’t want to get herself into any trouble after keeping quiet “all these years”.

Jeez, Mischa, wonder who that could have been LOL. This scene comes to mind where she is staring at his lips. Aha. (asides from all of S1 obviously)

I'm not even sure how the timeline would have worked in S1 though, between the older guy that pursued her and than dating Brandon.

Maybe something happened at the beginning of S3 - she was newly single then - and maybe that might explain their chemistry more than just joy that Ben finally got his hair cut LOL.

There was obviously a point when Mischa and Ben were attracted to each other - whether anything came of it, I don't know. But I also think Ben massively misunderstood how young she was, and how vulnerable she was when she got caught up in the wrong crowd.
