i thought originally it was supposed to be a 5 year contract but she has passed that already so i think it might be a 5 album one?

A ha! That makes sense. (That they count albums, not that My December wasn't counted.) That would be pretty ridiculous if they didn't count My December. Maybe just because she didn't do what they wanted her to do?? That means there is probably no way we are getting an acoustic album until she's out of her contract. If they didn't like My December, I can't imagine them liking that idea. :p

Honestly, I'm kind of nervous about her going to another label after RCA. I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but I'm a big fan of what she's put out through RCA.

I hate to double post but this kinda deserves it own post. Kelly tonight, and I quote:

Kelly just said she doesn't get to record bluesy stuff because she "works with a bunch of a ** holes"!!! (and of course she used different words)

She went on to talk about them the whole night.

I think we're seeing her true feelings finally come out.

I love how honest she is.

It does make me wonder though if something may have happened recently to cause her to be vocal about it.

i read a rumor online that kelly and rca are not agreeing on the next single. that's probably why she's voiced her frustration more lately.

Ah.. That would make sense then. Why we are hearing Don't Let Me Stop You is going to be the next single. I would bet RCA would choose that song whereas Kelly would choose If I Can't Have You. Sucks for Kelly.

She did call them *******s, haha. And she called her ex an ******* too before introducing, I think it was BTHE. Oh and she brought up the whole "two albums left" thing.

That's especially amusing now that people were saying how she hurried into All I Ever Wanted because of how 'poorly' My December did. What can they say now if this next album comes out 2 years or less after that one?

It really does sound like she can't get them out soon enough. I understand her frustrations though. She probably can't wait to be done with RCA.
