Great CHARITY project in Kelly's name
I am posting for all those who, like me, are probably excited at the prospect of the upcoming tour. In the past Kelly fans have been extremely creative and successful when it had come to Kelly projects, and this time time a few people from the KCE have come up with a beautiful charity project in honor of the Hazel Eyes tour.
At each concert Kelly will receive a card with the amount raised up to date. The Charity is March Of Dimes, which Kelly herself is a part of. If you remember Operation Thankful, well it's as great a project as that was IMO   If you would like to take part in this project, check Shannon's post below. If this thread should not exist, Shannon, go right ahead and lock it. I just thought it was such a great project, for little babies, and one that Kelly will surely love, that I'd bring it over for people interested in helping. |

You're right, Andy, it is a great idea.
 Charity posts usually need to be okayed by Jerry though, or one of the admins. Because this directly involves Kelly though, I'll leave this oepn while I check with them. __________________

One thing though, I clicked the link and it's actually TO a message board. What you might want to do is edit that link out, and just put in what the KCE did:------ You can send money one of two ways: 1. Donate directly to March of Dimes (click the picture):  The deadline for sending donations to Marchofdimes.com will be Sept 5th. or 2. Mail in donations to March of Dimes Attention: National Youth Program 1275 Mamaroneck Avenue White Plains, NY 10605 Please be sure to include a letter that states that you are donating in Kelly's name in association with the Kelly Clarkson Express/Hazel Eyes Tour fundraiser. Make the check out to March of Dimes... The deadline for mailing in your donations will be AUG 20, 2005. ------ And say where it's from. __________________

OKay, Johnnie said that charity posts do need to be approved, I suppose just by PMing one of the admin. So I'll close this for now, and if you want to PM Johnnie here, and get it approved, I'll re-open it for ya.
