I think he knew the danger was over, but he wanted to show off... that's our sheriff ;)

chaotic4life 05-01-2006 08:43 AM

Right, because the easiest answer always works so well two eps before the finale. Yeah, I don't think so...

There was something way off in his attitude.
That's my story, and I'm stickin' with it :D

I'm not usually one to post around the Lamb thread, but I have a thought as to why he was off in the last ep:

Since Lucky seems to have a thing for hitting on the Neptune seniors, maybe Lamb thoght Keith might found out about him and Madison?

That would explain the weirdness, maybe.

SpySyd 05-01-2006 08:54 AM

Hey, that was just my idea ;) I still think the Manning case affects him in more ways than one and that's what I loved in LWS. GREY. I love that color for characters.

But he knows Keith already knows...

Right Caro--maybe Lucky would provide another more damning piece of information.

We all know that Lamb kissed Madison, but what if he did more than that? That would give Keith reason to raise a stink and try to remove Lamb from office.

Only a scandal would give the people in Neptune reason to doubt Lamb (well, at least those that don't already know how often he "works.")

He knows that Keith knows...remember he "blackmailed" him with it (good times :D)

And so far we know Lucky hangs out with the cool guys and he is stalking Gia because of Woody, for some reason...so I don't think Lucky hits on seniors in general.

And I don't think Lamb knew about the Manning/Lucky connection...because he seemed briefly quite irritated, that Manning had bailed out Lucky.

....ahhh..and the headache returns...I swear...Rob is eating away on my brain.

I think Rob wanted imply, that it was more than kissing.;)
And I don't know it would be that much of a scandal...she is legal afterall. Madison mentions "older Men" in "AMMHE" for the first time...so she just turned 18.
And he is aware, that he only won by a 2% margin to begin with...I think it had something to do with either Lucky or Gia...not sure though.

SpySyd 05-01-2006 09:10 AM

Keith knows very well that Lamb and Madison didn't only kiss... that's why Lamb said "she's 18, that's legal!". There might be scandal, but like the sheriff said, it would be legal LOL

afrocurl 05-01-2006 09:12 AM

It's legal, but still a bit suspect. Considering the way that people in Neptune seem to turn on any public official with a slip up, Lamb's got to be worried.

I haven't taken tons of time to analyze Lamb, so I'm not quite sure how to explain last week.

SpySyd 05-01-2006 09:16 AM

Of course, people wouldn't like the sheriff to fool around with their teenage daughters but Keith's not one to play dirty, unlike Lamb... He might freak out from time to time, knowing Keith knows about his affair, but that's all.

Hee.

afrocurl 05-01-2006 09:19 AM

I think that the uneasiness can be explained by that sure.

Now I'm still trying to figure out why Lamb was so weird around Lucky.

SpySyd 05-01-2006 09:22 AM

I didn't think he was weird... he just sees Lucky as a weirdo (which is understandable). What really weirded him out was that it was Manning who bailed Lucky out. He was no longer snarking with Keith after finding that out.

chaotic4life 05-01-2006 09:23 AM

Roz Roz...your not posting here regularly and you are not analyzing Lamb's action...tsk, tsk...
Welcome to the dark side :D

MICHAEL! Here is somebody that needs to be converted ;)

afrocurl 05-01-2006 09:27 AM

The conversation was too good not join in.

Something else is bothering me about that scene Caro--I can't articulate it right now (which is bad) but even more than usual, Lamb looked totally confused. Sure having Mr Manning bail out Lucky is weird, but there was something else there, too. (I'm going to have to go back and watch it again.)

chaotic4life 05-01-2006 09:48 AM

I think it was just the fact, that the name Manning popped up again, which reminded him, that he really doesn't like him. And he was probably trying to make the connection on why Manning would be bailing out Lucky.

Exactly.
