I just hope that next season is as intense as this season was. There was a lot of twists that I didn't see coming, and I usually pride myself in solving mysteries.

What can I say, it was an awesome season - 22 amazing episodes!!! There were many excellent twists, many scary moments, many emotional ones, lots of humor, great acting... Just anything that a good show needs! I hope season 2 will be at least as good as this one

1.1 Pilot
I have finally started watching VM yesterday. I've wanted to do this forever, but when it aired in my country (Switzerland, but I'm half English, and now go to College here since 2 months ) I was never able to watch it 'cause it was a stupid time. So I thought one day, I'll download one episode a day/week (depending on much time I have ), so that's what I do now.
Man, am I gonna this show! I loved so many things about it: The music, the writing, the acting, the editing (the way they film the flashbacks, with a green filter, I know that 'cause I'm do Film Studies ). And the characters, the personalities they are. I love Wallace. He's so sweet and cool, I want to give him a BIG teddy bear hug!
My favourite parts were: "Ofcourse you can sit here. You can sit wherever you want."
Veronica sleeping in class but then getting out of it very elegantly with kicking ass by having done the homework and then saying: "Life's a bitch, until you die."
Keith asking Veronica: "Whose your favourite daddy?" the second time and then Veronica saying: "You are", with the sweetest voice ever.
I love that I can relate to it so much, I have the same relaionship with my Dad (my Mom died a few years ago) and Veronica is an idol to me now, just from what I've seen. I want to be like her - I love how she manages to be so good in school, have a great social life, and also do her detective/investigation job!
1.2 Credit Where Credit's Due
*Paris Hilton was hilarious - she had the only role she is able to play
*That was really hard how Weevil told Veronica she's still one of them, sending Duncan pictures of herself, I felt sorry for her.
*The newspaper editor rocks, I recognised her from Dawson's Creek.
*I think it's weird that Veronica wants her old life/friends back, if they include Caitlin/Paris Hilton?!
*What an ass Logan was for doing that to Veronica's tire! Duncan didn't seem to be pissed off at Logan for it, which I think he should have!
*Sooo sweet how Troy helped her with the tire, and from the beginning doesn't mind what the others think about him liking her!
*Veronica was so uncomfortable around Duncan, poor thing. Even when they were talking at the photo shoot, her body language showed that so much. I totally know how that feels...
*LOL on Veronica in the Neptune Grand, love her little laugh with her Dad. Veronica as a character pulls it off as an actress just as much as Kristen Bell.
*Oh man that hurt, how they beat up Weevil's cousin... Do you think he'll be allowed to go back to Weevil's family?
*Paris Hilton's pink ride with the matching outfit, oh my god, SO funny. LMAO.
1.3 Meet John Smith
*The 2 boys talking about cool Veronica, she looked so extraordinary in that scene.
*When V said to Troy "Let's go out" after seeing Duncan, looked like she did it just to distract herself! Which I don't like, because Troy's so in love with her!
*Loved how Veronica and Duncan dreamed about each other...
*Interesting how the boys' story linked with hers about her Mum. Great storyline.
*Clearly, Duncan is still very in love with Veronica, I don't get why he broke up with her in the first place. It's not like we have any info why he did that. It was heartbreaking, Duncan asking V how things used to be.
*I had the feeling at first that the friend of V's Mum lied to her, but only at first. "You're all she cares about". Yeah right, that's why she won't go back to her family. tzzz. That speech at the end of the eppy (or you can rebuild etc.) was amazing too.

I think season one is better than season 2. In Australia 2.12 was shown last night. I know there is good storylines, I just like the love - hate realation ship between Logan and Veronica

Yeah, I definitely agree about liking season one the best. The quality of this season is absolutely amazing, I think anything would be hard to top the first season.

So I started my rewatch, and thought some good discussion could be found here and help open get more people posting on the board

I forgot how good the Pilot was, with all it's flashbacks. Seriously, the morning after when Veronica wakes up and when she sees Lily dead for the first - so excellently done. I am quite excited to see the flashbacks from the Homecoming dance episode. That episode, imo, was always the beginning of Veronica/Logan. The looks at the memorial of Lily - so great.

But it's so weird going back and seeing like the mysteries unfold, when you already know the ending to them. It makes you see all the little things, and clues, that could of really helped you solve the mystery if you were paying complete attention.

Courtney, I like the flashbacks a lot also without the flasbacks we would have never seen Lilly and that would have been sad

I don't know how much I actually liked Lily as a character, I know I was in the miniority, but that entire storyline was always my favorite. That's why I love S1 the most. I love how EVERYTHING was connected, if you were paying attention.

Yeah, I know what you mean about everything being connected.

I always loved how the Lilly storyline was handled because it showed us how much she meant to Veronica and through Veronica's love of her best friend, we also cared about about what happened to Lilly.

So while watching this with my Mom, it's her first time, my Mom actually guessed the whole "Keith isn't Veronica's Dad, and Jake Kane is" thing I had no idea, even though I picked up on it when I was watching it too - because I already knew the storyline - when Keith says, "This shows how much a man loves this woman, when he can stay with her and a child that isn't his" and then Veronica has that thought. Remember, she just stares into space. It could of been her realizing that the stepfather raped Sarah but I don't know ..we both picked up on it. Anyone else?
