Actors and/or Shows You'd Like To See Scott Work With

Let's see if we can spark one or a couple of TPTB to see how great Scott would be to work with and/or a show to work on.

I'd love to see him in a romantic comedy wth Sandra Bullock.

And I think he'd fit nicely with Tom Selleck on the show Jesse Stone (lots of testosterone!!!)

I don't know who in particular I'd want him to work with, but I'd love to see Scott in a pure drama. Not thriller kind of drama like Saw, but pull at your heart strings, make you think kind of drama

I'm so with you there -- I'm just tired and somewhat bored of all the horror genre -- I'd like to mix it up.

I wouldn't mind an action film -- something that shows off muscles and althletic prowess. I just think he'd make a great lead in a romantic comedy -- and not just him repeating his character as Luke Danes -- try him in a love interest situation.

Okay...not sure why I keep double posting. I better give FF a rest until things get better from my end or their end. Jeez!

Scott has excellent range as an actor. I have enjoyed seeing him play the comedic straight man, the goofball, the dad, the cop, the special agent...I think he can do anything. What I want most for him as an actor is not a particular genre, but quality writing and direction.

I would love to see him in a John Sayles, David Mamet, or Coen brothers movie. They all know how to write/direct fully realized, interesting, quirky lead characters and villains.

I would also like to see Scott act with Bill Murray--especially anything written and directed by Wes Anderson.

A romantic lead in a comedy or drama would also be great, but only if the script is good.

For television, any quality show would be great. Actually, I would tolerate most anything to be able to see Scott once a week.

ETA: I would love it if Darren Lynn Bousman and Scott were to be able to team up again on a screenplay called "Witchita" that DLB has expressed interest in directing. From what I understand about the script, Scott would probably play an ultra violent psychopath. I think he would love a role like that and act the hell out of it.

For the last 2+ seasons (they currently are airing season 3), I have been enjoying a television show called Army Wives. Now as the title would suggest, the show revolves around the wives of the officers and enlisted men. But the men play big roles on the show as well, juggling their careers, family, deployment and people in their command. Scott could totally rock the part of a dedicated officer.

I know I said this before, but I would absolutely love to see Scott doing some theatre .... especially here in London.

In my humble opinion Scott would be absolutely perfect playing the role of "Pale" in the play Burn This by Lanford Wilson.

The role was originally created by John Malkovich in the original off-Broadway production in 1987, and I was privileged to see him here in London in 1990. I was so mesmerized by the play, I had to go back and see it.... 3 times!!!!

The character of "Pale" is very dark, intense, fierce, belligerant and very.... very angry, but also very vulnerable, disarming and surprising. Having seen what Scott did in GG..... how far he took Luke, I am convinced this role would suit his acting abilities perfectly.

I am sorry..... I am rumbling away here....... but if any of you had seen Burn This you would know what I mean!!!

That's my little English Girl!!! And if it's a "dark" character, it seems right up his alley (of late anyways).

Hi Deborah

Yes, the more I think about "Pale" the more I see Scott ...... he would have to let his hair grow a bit..... and he would have to have a Luke type bird on, and generally look a little disheveled.

The last production of Burn This was in New York in 2002 with Edward Norton..... so I think it's time to bring it back, don't you think???

I love the idea with the romantic comedy.

I love the idea of Scott as an investigator in CSI to see. I think he would be ideal in a role like Grisom or Horatio.

Yes please! That'd be great to see...she's one of my favorite actress ever and I think their chemistry would rock.

A movie drama would be great too. He could easily be one of the main characters in a Mystic River kind of movie

I love all of these ideas. Let us go to Hollywood and show TPTB how to do things correctly!!

I suppose that the roles that Scott is working on now, gears more to a male fan base -- I just miss his warm, soft underbelly side, you know? He's got that quiet comedy role where he succumbs to the wiles of women's craziness. ~Sighs~ I just wish he'd go back to that at least just once more -- if only to cater to his female fan base.
