It is. They seemed to become fast friends actually. Well, I'm not sure that's the word but they did have that heart to heart in her very first episode. And he was able to recognize that she works too much and needs a life outside work.

Watching 2x10, I like how Peter pulled her back into their orbit and kind of smirked when Neal saw that Sara was letting them into the yacht club.

I also liked their interaction at the end of the episode, where he tells her going to Argentina could be dangerous and she says it could be fun.
